Mastery

Mastery is a journey, your journey completes when you complete.

My journey through the Foundations Course at the Center for Spiritual Living has been fun and eye-opening for sure.  Much has been learned, life long lessons.

Laws

During the course I learned about laws of nature, life, and God,  Laws much like gravity affect my life daily. 

  • God was the first law, although not stated as such.  There are universal principles.  This might be more aligned as the Mental Law of the Universe – law of the mind.

Universal Affirmations

  1. My good is my God. My God is Life, Truth, Love, Substance, Intelligence – omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent.
  2. In God I live and move and have my being.
  3. I am Spirit, Mind, Wisdom, Strength, Wholeness.
  4. The IAM works inevitably through me to will and to do that which ought to be done by me.
  5. I am governed by the law of God and cannot sin or fear sin, sickness or death.

Five Steps of Treatment - to which we start with purpose

Recognition

In this step I recognize that God is the Absolute Reality and, as such, the only Intelligence.

Unification

I next unify my thinking with God, recognizing that my mind is an individualization of God-mind as my mind. Even though I know that God is the only Intelligence, this knowledge does nothing for me in a specific way until I identify with It. In this step, I accept the idea that I am not thinking with the mind of God. The Spirit of God moves through m as my spirit of self-awareness.

Realization

The word realization means to “make real.” During this step I consciously erase or dissolve whatever has caused the difficulty in my life. I am willing to give up my false beliefs, opinions and attitudes.  I use whatever words are needed to establish in me the feeling of already having a life that is whole, perfect and complete. (If I am treating for someone else, I state the name of the person I as speaking my word for.)

Thanksgiving

I now give thanks that my Spiritual Mind Treatment is a new mental cause that I have set in motion and I give thanks also for its manifestation.

Release

In this step I mentally let go of the treatment and let the Law work out the good I have established in mind for myself, or a patient. I am no longer concerned about the situation and am free to act as though the demonstration is already complete.
